FRENCH GUYANA

French Guyana is an overseas department ( departement d'outremer, or DOM) of France, located on the northern coast of South America . Like the other DOMs, French Guiana is also an overseas region of France, one of the 26 regions of France. As a part of France, French Guiana is part of the European Union's territory, and its currency is the EURO).

With the size of Portugal and only about 250 000 inhabitants from African descents, sometimes mixed with Amerindians, Asians and Europeans, the rich and numerous cultures existing are yet to be discovered and appreciated by the rest of the world
